The Japanese national soccer team is slowly building up to its October A-match.
On Sunday afternoon, the Japan Football Association (JFA) announced that the national team will take on Tunisia in an A-Match friendly scheduled for October 17 at Noevia Stadium in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Hajime Moriyasu, head coach of the Japan national soccer team, said, “We played Tunisia last year. They are physically tough, and their forwards have both speed and determination. They are a world-class team.”
“It will be a good experience for us ahead of the United Arab Emirates 2026 FIFA World Cup United Asia Second Qualifier starting in November. We will aim for victory against a tough opponent.”
As Moriyasu himself noted, Tunisia is a team that Japan faced last June. Japan suffered a humiliating 0-3 defeat against Tunisia in Anbang. For Japan, it’s a revenge match.안전놀이터
