Daegu FC enters the final round of the Hana One Q K League 2023 on October 21 with a home match against Jeonbuk Hyundai on Round 34, challenging the team’s season-long head-to-head advantage.

Daegu will be looking to extend their winning streak against Jeonbuk in the first match of the Final Round, as they were able to score three goals, including a thunderous opener from Ko Jae-hyun, in their last meeting on September 30th to secure a 3-1 victory and quickly clinch a spot in the Final A.

With 11 wins, 12 draws, and 31 losses in their all-time series against Jeonbuk, Daegu is tied with Ulsan for the most losses against the club.

In four of the six seasons since their promotion in 2017, including 2022, Daegu FC has failed to win a single game against Jeonbuk Hyundai, and none of those seasons have included more than two wins.

Daegu FC vs Jeonbuk by season since promotion
2 draws and 1 loss in 2022

3 losses in 2020
1 win, 1 draw, 2 losses in 2019

With two wins and one loss, Daegu FC is at least level on head-to-head record with Jeonbuk, who they will face four times in total this season as fellow Final A opponents, and will be looking for their first head-to-head win of the season with a victory in the first match of the Final Round.
