If he goes 4-for-4 in his final game…23-year-old Noh will hit 30 homers and 100 RBIs, a feat not even Kim Tae-kyun could accomplish.

A .305 batting average, 30 home runs, 100 RBIs.

It’s the stamp of approval for a power hitter. If you ask any of the leading hitters on a team what their goals are, they’ll usually mention 30-30, 100 RBIs.

This season, only Hanwha Eagles infielder Roh Si-hwan (23) has done it. Noh is the only player with 30 home runs and 100 RBIs. He has 31 home runs and 101 RBIs. He is the 86th player in KBO history and the fourth player under the age of 23 to achieve 30 homers and 100 RBIs.

His career high of 18 homers and 84 RBIs in 2018 was easily surpassed this season. What’s more, this year’s best performance came despite missing 13 games for the Hangzhou Asian Games.

A batting average in the triple digits completes the record.

510 at-bats, 152 hits, 2.9 ppg. On the 15th, he went 1-for-3 against the Lotte Giants at Daejeon Baseball Stadium to maintain his 2-for-9 record.

On the 16th, against Lotte in Daejeon, with one game remaining. He could go 2-for-4 or 2-for-3 in the final game of the pennant race. It’s not out of the question.

After returning from the Hangzhou Asian Games, he hit safely in four straight games. In four games, he’s 5-for-16 with three doubles and a triple.안전놀이터

On his return to the team, he said, “If you have a batting average of 30-30, 100 RBIs, that’s a really good player’s record, and it means a lot. If I can do that, it will be the best year of my baseball career,” he said. The best year is just around the corner.

Noh’s best year is just around the corner. He’ll have 30-30, 100 home runs and 100 RBIs, something even Kim Tae-gyun (41), a “perennial legend” whom Noh admires, hasn’t done.

Among Hanwha’s domestic players, the “legend” Jang Jong-hoon has only done it once. In 1991, Jang went 3-for-4 with 35 homers and 114 RBIs. In 1992, he hit 41 home runs and 119 RBIs, but he was only 2-for-9.

Tae-Kyun Kim hit 30 home runs twice, in 2003 and 2008, but lacked the RBIs. The only foreigners to reach the mark were Jay Davis, Willin Rosario, and Gerard Hoying, who powered the Dynamite offense.

In 2020, five players – Mal Rojas Jr, Na Sung-beom, Yang Ji, Preston Tucker, and Ha-Sung Kim – hit 30-30 with 100 RBIs. Yang was the only one in 2021, and none in 2022. Last year, Park Byung-ho was the only other player to hit over 30 homers, but he went just 2-for-7, 5-for-98.
