Shin was named the Most Popular Coach of 2023 at the 2023 Indonesia Awards on Aug. 31 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Organized by Indonesian media group iNews, the award is unique in that it is voted for by local fans, including coaches from all sports in Indonesia.
“Thank you for this honor,” said Shin. I think this award will help me to work more clearly with PSS President Eric Tohiro. I will do my best to develop Indonesian soccer further.”
