Armed conflict between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas has forced the cancellation of the ATP Tour’s Tel Aviv Open in November.
“The ATP Tour has decided to cancel the Tel Aviv Open due to safety concerns arising from the ongoing armed conflict in the region,” the organization announced on Friday.
The Tel Aviv Open was scheduled to take place in Tel Aviv, Israel, for a week beginning November 5.
Last year was the first time in 26 years that an ATP Tour event had been held in Israel since 1996.
Last year’s tournament was won by Novak Djokovic (Serbia).안전놀이터
